seductive silent wine...

I'm here in New York! I *love* it here so far. We have had great weather... it's green, sunny, and there's lots of different lakes and rivers. The town outside of base is really old and gorgeous. There are battlefields from the War of 1812 all over the place- the historical aspect of this area just blows my mind. We have to go down to New Jersey this week to pick up our car that the military shipped down from Alaska for us.... which means that we will be going through Scranton, Pennsylvania. I can't tell you how excited I am to see Dwight Schrute. LOL....

Our house is almost all set up. We have a couple of random boxes in the garage and in the master bedroom, but that's it. It's a huge house- 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, lots of storage space, and a backyard. We are close to everything that we need, which makes it even better. My next doctor's appointment is in 1 week, and then I think they will be doing the anatomical ultrasound the week after that. I can't wait to find out if Peanut is a boy or a girl! I have a really strong feeling that it is a boy. I don't know why, but I guess we will see! They say that mother's intuition is pretty accurate, so it'll be interesting.

Gotta run, have lots of laundry to do and K isn't napping very well. I'll post pics as soon as I figure out where my camera is.

Quick update-

J is in Michigan and will be in New York this week. They will start to find us a house next week, and then we can fly up and meet him. I miss him! K has learned how to climb, so now she is a monkey. Riley is doing well, as far as I know- my next doctor's appointment should be within the next couple of weeks. I think that's all for now... my blog is so empty and boring these days :( It'll get better soon!
